Eric's second CD, Smile, is an intimate solo acoustic collection of songs written over the course of falling in love and starting a new life in Texas. There are also several songs that are not related to our courtship. The final song, Texas Summer Rain 2000 is a fully produced version of Texas Summer Rain that was recorded during the 2 weeks I spent back in Boston in 2000 after meeting my wife at the Kerrville Folk Festival, before moving to Texas.
